Raced home from work and was able to mow the lawn and work on the garden before the skies opened up.
June 21
5:30am Total Body Conditioning Class
WU: Running in place, high knees, butt kicks, etc
Too many exercises to track everything but basically: wide arm pushups, burpees, squats, bicep curls, box jumps, salem jumps, tricep pushups, cross leg squats, etc etc etc.
My entire body is exhausted.
7:45 pm - 9:00pm "Yoga under the Stars" Fun outdoor class!
June 20
5:40pm .5 mile treadmill run in 4:34
6:00pm Hot Vinyasa Yoga 1:15 long
We really focused on stretching our hamstrings and opening up our hips.
June 19
5:30am No Limits Circuit Class
We had to see how many times we could repeat each exercise within the 2 minute time period
2 minutes of plank position dumbell pulls (5 lbs each)
2 minutes with the resistance bands - pull straight out in front 5x, pull straight out to the sides 5x, etc
2 minutes of feet on sliders, pulling body with arms about 20 feet, turn around and put hands on sliders and push body back with legs
2 minutes of sprints
2 minutes of box jumps up, step back down
2 minutes of 3 burpess, bear crawl about 20 feet, 3 burpees, bear crawl back
2 minutes of squat dumbell swings
2 minutes of jumping jacks with resistance bands
2 minutes of 5xpushups with arms close together, 5xpushups with arms under shoulders, 5xpushups with wide arms
2 minutes of situps while passing an exercise ball from my hands to my feet
2 minutes of walking hands from plank position to toes and back to plank position
2 minutes of sprinting out and jogging back
...and then the entire circuit was repeated but with 1 minute of each exercise.
and stretch.
8:00pm 2.8 mile run around my neighborhood. Sans garmin.
June 18
I feel really f-ing good about my workouts and I am going to attempt to keep up with this daggone log.
5:40pm: 1 mile warm up on treadmill in 8:25
6PM no limits circuit class:
WU: 50 sec plank holding dumbells (5 lbs each), 50 sec of plank position dumbell pulls, 50 sec plank holding dumbells, 50 seconds of "walking" the dumbells in towards my feet and then walking them back out into plank position, 50 sec of plank position, 50 sec of lunges, 50 sec plank holding dumbells, 50 sec of squats thrusts with dumbells... repeated twice
WO: Outside we went... 2 x 1/4 mile sprints. 5 pushups followed by a 1/8ish mile sprint... repeated 5 times. 10 squats followed by a 1/8 mile sprint... repeated 6 times (ending in 10 squats). 2 more 1/4 mile sprints. (2.38 miles total running outside) Back inside for one more set of the above warm up. 1 minute of plain situps. 1 min of jack knife situps.
and stretch. The end.
