I ate thirteen donuts prior to the start. One didn't count because I ate it prior to the official start. Eating 13 donuts was tougher than running with them in your belly. It's all that sugar! I ended up winning easily with a total time of 9:42. Next year I'm going to race without a stroller and eat as close to 20 as I can. Hopefully I can go negative!Krispy Kreme run this morning.

I just ate breakfast and I don't know if that was a mistake.  I need to focus better on race day.

Swam @ LTF

When I took the "tour" of Lifetime my guide Jeff told me the pool was 25 meters, and I didn't see the point in questioning him.  I've swam twice and I'm pretty sure it's 25 yards.  Or maybe it's the special LTF water.  Sometime when I'm feeling dorky I'll take my long tape measure and check it out.

I ran from Publix to the Lieta and did two loops there and then back to Publix for some groceries.

Bike today.  Must bike today.

It's 38 degrees!

Must bike today.

I made it.  The first hour was tough.  Everything was fine except for my toes.  They were ice cubes.  I ended up stopping at the restrooms by the Hooch and tearing off some plastic from the trash bags and wrapping my feet in them.  Worked like a charm.  I saw a deer near Eves rd bolt across the road and almost hit a jogger.  She didn't think it was as funny/cool as I did.  Some folks just don't see the joy in the little things.  It also was "take your moron newbie cycling buddy on a ride day" and I spent a good bit of time stuck behind them.  It's amazing to watch the handling and clipping in skills.  There were two different sets that walked their bikes across Roswell Rd before mounting them after the red light.  Of course they didn't look back before mounting and trying to clip in while merging back into traffic.  Anyway, it gave me something to chuckle about.
