February 10

Only a short run on tap today which I had planned to switch to a ride on the elliptical.  Instead I spent a couple of hours reworking my IMTX plane tickets since they cancelled my flight home.  I now get to drive to dallas after the race in order to catch a flight that'll get me home in time for Madeline's first communion.

Long ride tomorrow, supposed to be raining/snowing in the morning.  Since I'm still new to the area I'll be pushing the watts on the trainer.  Hope to meet up for a group ride in the next couple of weeks to figure out some safe routes.

no cool down since Bree woke up 3minutes into the 20'tt and I had the pleasure of listening to her for 17 minutes.  after the math my ftp is 227.  Now to plug this into Jorge's spreadsheet to check out my zones.  I'm tired.

good time crunched run. started to get up this morning but with the rain, cold, and tricky roads out from the new house I thought I'd wait it out. Ran during the girl's CCD class. Needed about 10 more minutes but with all the crazyness and family that is going on I feel good about getting in 8.

Early trainer ride, could/should have gone longer but I need to get some other things done.

Picked up a sweet Felt Q520 off craigslist for $275.  This is one of those guys who really didn't ride his bike, looks brand new.  Haven't decided if it's mine or Row's yet.  I'll let her have it if she agrees on the bike I want.  Her sister has a bike that she doesn't use since she upgraded so if Row wants that, I'll take the Felt.  I like it but I've got my eye on a 29er.

Brielle's 1st birthday starts in a few hours.  My mom is bringing homemade lasagna, italian bread, and some other goodies, while my Mom-in-law is baking cakes and other goodies.  (should have ridden that extra hour)

Still playing with the power tap.  Need to do a test next week to figure out my real numbers to help make sense of it all.
