Another late night easy spin on the trainer. Starting to break my butt back into the saddle.

First day back on active duty. Gotta say, even though I am filling a staff job, I fuckin' love it. There is something so incredibly cool about being around Marines all day. After just one day I can see how much I missed that which made me what I am. I think I'll go watch 300 again...

 

Less than 4 weeks to the 1/2 IM.  I think I might even swim tomorrow :-)

Went to a talk at a local bike shop last night, given by the Man himself, Dave Scott. I have to say, I've always been impressed by his athletic accomplishments, but his level of knowledge surrounding nutrition is off the charts.  He gave me a tip or two that just might end my frequent "bladder evacuation" on the bike and run. Not to mention he was extraordinarily cool and down to earth.  Ooh- and to top it off I won a years supply of Accelerade :-)
