Day off. I was going to substitute a bike workout for the scheduled swim, but my legs (and myself) are too tired. Running in the AM mañana.

Did Spinervals 23 C since I was supposed to do an efficiency workout with a lot of high cadence work. My knees and ankles are feeling the biking -- tomorrow I'll either do the easy DVD, or just 30 mins. of pedaling while watching TV (since I have to substitute something for that swim workout that I can't make.)
Nice run this AM. 1:40/3:20 run/walk pace for 6 reps. HR during the runs stayed in the 130-150 range for the most part (Z3-4 for me). I probably hit that 160 trying to yank Shadow one of the times that she stopped to pee. If I'd let her, she'd love to stop every other block. :|
Got some unfortunate news today vis-a-vis my training - my friend who has been sharing the carpool with me for our girls has to put the carpool on hiatus for awhile. She's in the process of opening a new business, so her schedule is in limbo for awhile. So, there go the Tuesday swims. I guess that I'll try for Friday after school, Saturday, and then try to haul the whole family over there on Sundays until I can work something else out.

1st 2 sets of Spinervals 5.0. (Had wanted to do more, but I got the computer for the bike today and it took forever to install it and then, I can't really read it too well.)
Nice brisk morning. Did a 1:50/3:10 run/walk ratio. HR a little higher than I wanted, so I'll keep this ratio for Friday's run as well.
Managed to sneak off to the pool this afternoon. 200 kick, 200 pull, 200 swim.
