Overslept this AM and had to decide whether to be rushed this morning, or haul out of the house tomorrow, a day where I don't work. Opted for the rush this morning and ran, showered, got the girls and myself out the door and to school/work on time. (Now can I go back to bed??)
Upped the run/walk ratio to 2:10/2:50; next Monday I'll go to 2:15/2:45. (Can you tell I like playing with my Garmin?)
Swimmy this PM? Maybe, it's going to depend on family stuff. If not, then swimmy tomorrow.
Nope, no swimmy today, needed to get home. Think I'll do the strength training from tomorrow tonight, then swimmy manana.

Spinervals Fitness 1.0. I was supposed to do some sort of hill workout, but I'm feeling sore and tired. I'm needing my day off!
Nice cool, ever so slightly humid morning. Yes Master Mimi, I know I hit a high HR -- but that was after being good for the whole run --the last run lap is a slight down hill and this grasshopper just had to stretch it out! I hit an 8:42 pace and it felt gooood.
And it's out the door at 5:15 for the run.

200 kick, 200 pull, 200 swim followed by 100 of each. Beautiful views of the Catalina mountains and the girls were happily playing in the adjoining playground.
Swimmy was just ok -- never really got into a rhythm and my kick was erratic at best. Didn't seem like I did too much, but now, a couple of hours later, I'm really feeling it. When is that day off? Oh nuts, I've got run, bike, and strength before I get to my day off on Thurs. Can I make it?????

Spinervals 1.0 - seriously modified. I was regretting the quesadilla that I had for dinner. Note to self: don't eat so close to working out!! :(
Got to go out an hour later than usual because of MLK day and it's still dark out! At least there was a beautiful big moon in the northwest sky on the way back.
Trainer this PM

WU: 100 kick with Zoomers, 100 pull.
Swim: 800 yds. Baseline trial for triathlon: 800 yds in 30.57 mins! (And I had guessed it would take me 40). I'll do this swim again next month during Rodeo vacation. Hopefully there will have been some improvement and that will be the estimated time I submit for the March tri.
