Did the first 30 mins. of the Gates Pass Spinervals. (Yes, I know, it's kind of sick to do this with the DVD, when I could just go over there -- however with job and kids, this will have to suffice.) Anyway, focused on cadence (trying to keep up with the good coach) and HR -- hovered around 122-123 most of the time. Will finish off the challenge tomorrow with Fitness 1.0

B-day party #2 for friend of child #2.   This one was gymnastics based, so child #1 stayed also.  (She's been doing gymnastics through Parks & Rec for 3 years).  Found out about a summer gymnastics class at U of A -- she definitely wants to go!

Was going to do something,  but the lymph nodes aren't happy and my cough is a little juicy.  Gonna rest -- we'll see what's doing for tomorrow.

Did finally get the pix from the race and put three of them in my race report.  (Tried to change my avvie, but it's not working.  Nuts)

Oh, it did change it.  Huh.  Wonder how that happened -- some kind of weird time delay or something.

I wasn't kidding when I said "tiny". Just thought I'd spin a little to see how I'm doing. 10 mins was ok, more might not have been. I want to be well enough to do the full 1.0 Fit. video tomorrow.

MRI seems to have revealed nothing serious -- at least there was no phone call from the Dr. yesterday.  UPDATE (6:30PM) - Dr. called a little while ago - NO GROWTH, TOTALLY NORMAL!  (and did I not tell him so!)  Anyway, he's to keep on with the diet and increased exercise and go back this summer.  So, life returns to what passes for normal around here.  Thanks for the concernSmile

I seem to have caught a flu-type bug -- aches and fatigue.  Yuck. (Later: it's somewhat better -- bugged out of the prof. dev. meeting today -- they were discussing reading data anyway - snore - and I'm just starting to feel normal.  Maybe a tiny ride tonight -- just to get a little closer to my montly goal for the team.)

Ok, no run for this AM.  Husband had an MRI scheduled for today as part of figuring out why his energy level is so low and while I wasn't going to go to the test, he was up early and needed reassurance that all will be ok.  (He's been freaking out since Fri. when the dr. called the house to tell him that they wanted to do an MRI).  We should know by the end of the day if there are any serious problems; frankly I think that most of it has to do with stress, being overweight and lack of exercise.  I keep trying to challenge him to do the March tri with me next year -- we'll see if he takes the bait. 

Either swim or bike this PM -- depends on home stuff.
