Not going to go to run with Dr. GoodHands today...she feels like carp and needs to recover.  I'm going to the Suwanee trail and get in 5-6.  Upper body work today as well.  Today will be a good day.

Was ex Daughter-in-law's B'Day and we took her DD and her out to lunch.  Frankly...this was more important than a few more miles.  After what she has gone through with some domestic violence issues with her ex boyfriend....well she feels safe with us and that is important right now.  Came home and later fixed seared Talapia, mashed potatoes, sauteed mustard green beans....yummmm.

Still don't have much energy...just can't  shake this congestion...or the clouds.  I don't think that way when I am swimming but it is hard to get wet and when I finally do I am drained from an energy standpoint.  But hey...this is a new day and certainly a better one than yesterday.

Absolutely nothing good to say about today except I went to school and worked with one of my pitchers for about an hour.  That $ucks.  I have to go out to dinner with the in-laws and the wife and pretend to have a wonderful time since it is the wifes b'day.

Could have run, as it did not rain but I just DIDN'T.  I hate feeling this way and frankly I am not sure that it helps to get on here and blog about it...I think it used too, but I am really not so sure anymore.

 

We shall see.

Walked at the River with the Tri group...still didn't have any energy and I think the massage on Sat. stirred things up as I was conjested and coughing again.  The walk felt good and we even had a new member show up....cool.

Quick workout before going to see Dr. GoodHands for an adjustment and massage...hoped to get in about 5-8 miles but I still have some of my cold lingering around so I will get it tomorrow with the Tri group run.  I wish my energy level was as high as my stress level....hope this gets better soon.  We are supposed to have beautiful weather this coming week and I need to get some miles in.
