15:00 Update:  Have not been in my truck since about 1:00a.m. Fri. morning when all of the ice/snow stuff was happening.  Didn't even go outside yesterday.   So I go out 10 minutes ago and find out that someone hit my truck while sliding down the ice sheet formerly known as the roadway in our apartment.  They left a number to call them but no one is answering right now.  This blows. 

Fender is smashed in on the tire and I'll have to have a wrecker tow it.  It's NEVER a good time for something like this but I REALLY don't need this right now.


It's still cold and when you arise when I do the days are way to long.

19:40: No Peach today and I am not apologizing.


1:40 a.m.:  I have gained some closure tonight that was really needed.  The most telling point is that once again I can trust my gut over and above anything else.  I believe my ability to read people...especially some people...is AMAZING.

It was still truly special and shall never be forgotten.

9:00 p.m.- Helped Dr. Chris pick up stuff at Ikea and some recliners at another store.  We didn't finish until after 7:00 and then he and his wife treated me to dinner at the Korean B-B-Q/Tofu House..........Frickin' AWESOME.  Haven't eaten Korean cuisine in many years and going with two people who eat this at home and are also fellow foodies....Well like I said, it was AWESOME.

It was really nice to be busy today and we are starting tomorrow and Thursday as well...Woo Hoo


Still not getting any sleep and really hope I can get an adjustment today before we start moving furniture and exam tables.

Initial test for a challenge I am going to do.  Not to shabby for just starting out.  I am pleased.

Busy day...Laundry, picking up furniture for a friends new office and a trip to Ikea.   Cancelled until tomorrow.  :(  .....Getting some core work in and grocery shopping.  I like busy days.

7:00 P.M. Update:.....

Pity Party Alert...you have been warned

Went out today for the scheduled 10 miler...so far so good...then life rears it's head and I had to call my training partner and bail because I HAD to take care of this situation right away. Life, life, life.....3 hours later I head to the River to get the run in.

Start out fine and it is about 29 degrees with wind-chill of around 14.  First 2 miles are awesome but maybe a little fast...then the fun began....

Quads are trashed from some stuff I did earlier in the day...excuse #1
With the sweat I worked up I am freezing my a$$ off...excuse #2
It is almost totally dark and I still have 4 miles of trail to get back to the car....BIG excuse #3
A friend passed by in their car and offered water...and said "You look frozen"excuse#4
I'm running by myself and processing the life's event from earlier.......excuse #5

So I get in the car and ask them to drop me off at my car.

Got 6.1 in which isn't bad...but I let my training/accountability partner down, I didn't get the 10 in and my mental toughness took a shot to the groin today.

It helps to put this out there and I will do so in my blog.....it just helps me type this because if I do that I won't sit here and kick my own a$$ the rest of the night.

Gonna be a chilly one today.  10 miler planned for just after lunch.  Didn't get a chance to read yesterday because other "stuff" took priority...and was worth it right now.  Adding some reading time today should be an option.
