well...my feet were re-introduced to my running shoes tonight! Awwwww...it was such a sight to see...I think my left pinkie toe actually shed a tear at the sight of the running sock. :-) Did a aggressive run tonight...Some of it was to take out anger at things that happened (or rather...didn't happen the way I wanted them to) earlier in the day...part of the reason was to punish myself for taking too many days off before continuing my base training...and part of it was because I had someone coming to my house and I had to be sure to be home in time...lol. Felt great! HR was "up" there...but that's my usual zone run (mid 3) on most days. I will be mixing in slower runs as well as intervals...but tonight...it was about the speed. :-)

May 1

Having my son with me this week (since Sunday) has made it difficult to do any training...that.  I plan to get back in the saddle (literally and figuratively) this weekend...blogging will commence at that time.  Thanks to all 1 (ok, 3) of you for your inspires.  I read them...I cringe when I see them (guilty feelings are the greatest nudge!)  So....rest assured that I'm not falling off the wagon...just changing the wheels (literally and figuratively).  Ha.

Oh, and my sponsoree says the HED3's look awesome...can't wait to see them (he's apparently holding them hostage until the 2nd set comes in).  lol.

Today, my eldest brother would have turned 42.  Steve, I miss you.
