I had one of the best swims ever. I didn't stop at any time. i just kept swimming. Wow was that a great work out. I switched back and forth between breast and freestyle. The 1st 100 was all freestyle. I feel fast in the fresstyle and i am pacing myself and actually going faster than floundering.

Day 3 of my paid 2 weeks vacation (notice). I got so much done it was amazing. I felt that I actually made some head way today and crossed alot off of my to-do list. I finally changed both MTB tires for the race. Took alot longer than I like but oh well. It looks funny having slick on a MTB but until I can scrounge up some cash this is my best next option. I have a MDs appointment tomorrow. I hope its a good one:)

Horrible, horrible run. I was super tight even after stretching. I felt tired. I started chafing due to the new short I was trying out. It was painful for me even to keep going but I did finish.
Wow, did that run suck.
I am going to take it easy regroup focus on the swim and bike this week and really prepare myself for the 10K on Sun....maybe a light brick later this week to get my wheels back.

Well the morning started horribly with the run but then got really good. I bought a new ...err used car today. In my price range and at a hell of a price. Subaru Forester to haul all my Tri and AR gear shit around in...the best part is the AWD. After this winter, I was ready for it. I really did a number on the chaffe. I neosporned it and I hope it will be good enough for Sun...10K

I didn't feel real energized but i kept pushing myself to keep going.

I got a lot done today and spent alot of time outside enjoying the nice weather. It nice having sometime off to relax and enjoy the world the way its meant to be...not behind a cubicle...haha The swim was ok...still frustrating but I kept on going...I can feel that i am getting faster and better. Now only if I could continue freestyle the whole time. :( Baby steps...this time 3 months ago i was lucky to get across the pool twice without takeing a break

Interesting Brick workout: Ran to pool, swam, ran back to my apartment to transition (drop off googles,pickup fuel belt), ran 6 miles. I kept going and didn't stop. I was super happy with the workout. I felt strong and balanced.

I put my 2 weeks notice in today and was escorted out of the building. Lots of respect after 5 years but hey its 2weeks paid vacation in my eyes...so I decided i would go out and celebrate. Well i may have over did it...with 3 beers. Oh well, I went from beer king to light weight but I can accept that. I got home and crashed...I think the excess stress and the beer did me in. WOOOHOO So excited about the job
