I was really depressed today and I am not sure why. I tried to get outside and do something to see if that helped. I ate lunch out and looked at bikes at the LBS. I met another person training for a tri with TNT. Tami mentioned that she had a swim trainer that she loved and would split seesion with me if I was interested. That was so nice of her, I gave her my email and she did indeed email me today. I met up with a friend of mine Suzan who is a personal trainer and a friend of mine. I wanted her to look over my training and make sure I was on track and see how I could interate soem AR training into my sessions. She was very helpful and very supportive! So that made the day good as well.:)

I only drank hald to begin with. I then swung ove to Joels place to watch the NFL drafta nd see who the Steelers took...I TE from VA just in case you are wondering. Left there early to come home and get ready for the race tomorrow. I carb loaded and went to bed fairly early.

April 21

Great day...got good news from my MD...BP, weight, Cholestrol and lowered since Nov. I took the day off b/c I am still having problems with tender shin splints. I am getting nervous about this run on Sun I hope I can perform or finish :( Well this is no time to get injured a few weeks away from my 1st tri. I went to look for a bike rack that fits my car...apparently I can't use my only rood rack and carrier. Subaru makes one specifically for the car...there goes another 170 bucks. I did look at some cannodales at the LBS adn also found out that they do 25/35 mile rides every Sat. I was so excited. I am looking forward to the rides.

Swim
  • 36m 18s
  • 1200.00 yards
  • 03m 01s /100 yards

I had one of the best swims ever. I didn't stop at any time. i just kept swimming. Wow was that a great work out. I switched back and forth between breast and freestyle. The 1st 100 was all freestyle. I feel fast in the fresstyle and i am pacing myself and actually going faster than floundering.

Overall awesome wokout

Day 3 of my paid 2 weeks vacation (notice). I got so much done it was amazing. I felt that I actually made some head way today and crossed alot off of my to-do list. I finally changed both MTB tires for the race. Took alot longer than I like but oh well. It looks funny having slick on a MTB but until I can scrounge up some cash this is my best next option. I have a MDs appointment tomorrow. I hope its a good one:)
