slower than slow, but better than the guy still in bed I spose will be my mantra :D
Well, Hallelujah! I cannot believe I didn't hack but a couple times this morning on my run! I didn't even want to get up and go. This plague has been so annoying. I used a facemask that has a filter so you're not inhaling the same air back. I'm sure other folks thought I was nuts b/c it isn't that cold this morning, but I think that helped, along with a couple blasts of the inhaler. I'm a little hacky now finishing breakfast but I'm just so excited to start to feel normal again! And Max couldn't have been happier, we went through Gallup Park, the Prairie over at the Arb and back through the Furstenburg side of Gallup. Off to Jewel Heart for what I'm sure will prove to be a relaxing and inspirational rest of my day for a all day lecture.

The Plague, the Plague, the Plague. <insert midget Fantasy Island voice> Pissing and moaning, check. Suicidal ideations, check. Lying in bed all day, check. I left work yesterday at 11:30. Went to the doctor and demanded something!!! I admit it, I'm a terrible patient. A whiny-arse pain in the butt. It's one thing to self-inflict a marathon or HIM on myself, but an unexpected virus that makes me cough till I throw up my breakfast, practically pee myself, fugheddaboutit. I'm a much better caregiver than need to be cared for person.
Screw your "It takes 2-3-4 weeks for a virus to clear." So I walked out of there with steroids and an inhaler and today I decided to lie in bed. I also have decided to nix any form of activity till Saturday's long run - 5 miles, LOL. Sorry Max, no walk in the woods for you. If my lungs don't get better, and soon, this is just gonna not work at all, so might as well skip the early on short runs and get better.
