Overall pretty happy with this ride. There was quite a bit of climbing. My fitness level is sure not what it was. Pretty pathetic speed. I had hoped for a to do closer to 50 but I was pretty done after this and had much to do in the afternoon.

Todays run not so great. VERRYY slow lot's of walking. Calves and shins felt tight/sore and I think the heat played into it also. It was already about 60 when I headed out, which isn't bad but much warmer than I've been running in. I think shoes may need to go back as the rubber part that goes around the front seems to rub on toes.

Pretty much a typical run...mile 2 wondering how in the world I can go any longer much less 40 more minutes, miles 3 & 4 feeling pretty good, mile 5 ready to be done but feeling good. 5 x 30 sec. strides during the 4th and beg of 5th mile felt pretty good. If only I could keep that pace up, my form feels good and it feels like the pace I "should" run at.
