Run #1
  • 13m 39s
  • 1.00 miles
  • 13m 39s /Mi

Wrote this whole long thing about how the "run" went this morning but lost connection or something...just as well as it was very whiny. Still spending much time hacking and throwing up phlegm while attempting to run. Thinking possibly it now might be allergies (not something I've ever had before) instead of just a cold. All though antihistamine I tried yesterday had no effect. Pretty done with whatever it is.

Think I will this to ride this evening and see how that goes.

Run #2

Swim
  • 30m
  • 1100.00 yards
  • 02m 43s /100 yards

Many many breaks. Not sure if it was the cold or the lack of swimming for the last 2 months that made it difficult. I'm sure both. Started to feel better as I got farther on. My son showed up after the first 750 and the rest of the laps were just goofing off trying to help him a little with his swimming. He's a little worried about his swimming skills for boot camp...since he leaves in 2 weeks there won't be much we can do but any little bit helps. :)

Run
  • 34m 10s
  • 2.50 miles
  • 13m 40s /Mi

Decided I better try some running....didn't go so great. A lot of walking and coughing but at least I'm sleeping better at night. I guess I will just keep going. The first mile was the first felt a little better in the second. Seems if I can keep my hr in the low 130s it's not so bad. Of course that means barley moving. :)

Bike
  • 2h 31m 24s
  • 33.00 miles
  • 13.08 Mi/hr

To Golden on clear creek and home by Easley/Indiana 72nd. Stopped at mom and Dads. There was much coughing at some points of the ride but not as bad as last week. I was ok as long as i took it easy. Hills were tough. I'm ready to be done with this hacking and coughing.
