Good ride for the first time out on the tri bike and considering my lack of recent bike milage

The hammy feels good today, but I think I'm gonna hold off on running till tomorrow.  It seems I'm always coming back just a bit to early so I'll play it safe.  It looks like it's going to be a nice day for a ride so I'll take the tri bike out for its inaugural ride of the year. Can't believe it's taken me this long to get it off the trainer

Woke up this morning and stretched a bit.  Felt a little tightness in the left hammy still so I bailed on the work commute.  Probably a good call because it tightened up about 3 miles in to tonight's run.  It faded toward the end of the run, but no sense pushing it.  A little RICE action and a rest day planned tomorrow and hopefully I'll be back to normal by Saturday.

Decided I better get a swim in since I have a tri in a week and a half.  It wasn't too entirely awful.  Also got the tri bike off the trainer, put this season's tires on, and otherwise got it ready to ride, hopefully tomorrow

Nice easy run to test out the legs.

I decided a run was in order today since the legs didn't feel too bad.  Hammies were a little tight but once I got moving, it wasn't too bad.  This is how I expect to feel a couple of days after a half mary.  Not out of commission for a week and a half like the last one.  Damn you Hollywood and your freaking hill

Race report is up. Still a little bummed about the result. Having 10 hours to stew over it yesterday didn't help
