Took the first half slow and easy because I was a little hungover and had a bit of GI distress that didn't get resolved until I stumbled across a porta-potty near the ISU cross country course. It was surprisingly clean. That was the first of three stops. Note to self: no drinking the night before long runs. I let my self speed up the second half and my splits got progressively faster. I even threw in 3 marathon pace miles to cap off the run for shits and giggles because my legs felt pretty damn good.
Well that's 200 miles in three weeks. Not too shabby. Today's run also capped off a 12 day streak of running. That's gotta be some sort of record for me. Tomorrow I get a rest day! Sort of, if you count riding a bike 55 miles on zero bike training a rest day :)

So against my better judgement I am riding 3.5 days of RAGBRAI next week. I forgot to factor this in to the running plan, but I think I worked it out so I'll only need to run one morning while I'm riding and I will not miss any of the planned workouts. Of course if my legs are trashed after the ride due to my complete lack of bike training the end of the week runs may be difficult to hit, but I'll worry about that when the time comes.
