Treadmill run at the Y. Did a mile at 11:30, walked 2 minutes, then a mile at 10:45, walked 2 minutes. Another at 10:45, but took a walk break halfway through.

Way too windy this morning to run outside, so drove into town and ran on the dreadmill at the Y. When I left, you could see the line of storms rolling through the area. The wind was crazy and my SUV was rocking violently on the road. I was so glad that my DD happened to be out at our house doing laundry, where we have a basement.

My heart goes out to the people in Washington and Pekin, Illinois, who lost their homes in the tornado this afternoon. The images of the devastation are surreal.

Supposed to run tonight, but my back is still hurting. Neck is better so at least there has been improvement. I can tell when the Aleve is wearing off. Will give my back a rest tonight and see how things feel tomorrow.

Taking off work a little early to run a couple of errands. Should finish up in time to get a run in before it gets too dark. We did get a bit of snow last night although most of it melted quickly. Now it's just cold slush.

Feeling like a little old lady who complains about her aches and pains --- my neck and back are still very tight. Feels fine when I am moving and that seems to help, but sitting is problematic. Another day of Aleve, I suppose.

Happy Veterans Day to all of BT!!! Our office is open today and it's going to be busy too. Bleh...

6 mile run on tap for the evening, assuming the predicted rain and snow mix holds off. If that hits, maybe a drainer ride. Sigh, hello winter.
