I checked the weather several times to make sure it wasn't going to rain during my run (because I brought Sir H).

I failed to notice the, um, TEMPERATURE.

It was 85 effing degrees and I felt every single one of those degrees. I haven't been used to running in heat and boy did it take its toll. Oddly, I ran a good pace.

I ran out of water at mile 9. I started regretting giving Sir H all those sips of water -- since he was neither thirsty nor running but likes to drink out of water bottles because, c'mon, water bottles are FUN.

There was a bit of a GI issue at mile 6 and let's just say THANK GOD THERE WAS A BATHROOM NEARBY.

The end was rough and hot and then I almost lost my license and credit card when I folded up the stroller but some nice people pointed them out and now I won't be a victim of identity theft.

Maybe today should have been a rest day. I did 15.5 on Friday, 4 on Saturday, and I raced (hard) a 10K yesterday... little wonder my legs were tired.

I want to start doing weights again. My friend's awesome husband sent me a workout I can do with my bodyweight and the 5 and 10 hand weights I have. I think 1x/ 2x a week will help with general overall health and also so I can get sick abs look better.
