Nice ride today. 2/3rds of us are tapering, so no one was killing themselves today, but we still finished in less than 1:25.
Nice chilled out run. Easy, easy. Nobody's looking to get hurt today.
Still did a little kick at the end though.

Took it out easy. Circled the rock island efficiently. Took it back to the building easy. Found someone to go a little farther after that, and really poured it on. It was great to feel that kind of speed. I was making wake! Got to the point about 30% faster than my buddy, to the point where he popped up and asked if I wanted to go ahead and come back so we wouldn't be late for the run. Nice!
Good run with Doc and Carla. We did the hills in Grandview.
HR monitor obviously needs new battery.

Good ride. Gorgeous morning. We had 5 people today. I'm not worried about getting dropped anymore. But I'm certainly working hard!
Not sure this speed is physically possible, but I've never had the Garmin err on the side of faster than I'm really going. Hmmm. I was blabbing my mouth off and looked down and I was doing a 7:30 at that point. Thought I slowed it down after that. Not sure how I could have done this time. Not without exceeding 185 on heartrate. I didn't even go over 170. Mike said we were going really fast, though. But he could still talk some.

Bike to start of self-supported tri.
Slow easy swim. I was able to keep my normal pace with less effort since I was warmed up from biking there. Wow, I guess that's why people warm up! LOL!
Extremely hard bike. I felt good but was pushing it. I was determined to stay with my pace group. I was confident I would. We had a real pace line of four, and actually took turns pulling. It was really cool!! I knew I'd pay for the pace later on the run. I was pleased I didn't fall apart.
It was a hot one! Most of the cyclists didn't do the run. A few looked strong. A few fell off. I was the only woman to finish the whole run. I was the first person back from my pace group.
