Core class at the Y. This kicked my butt. Lots of hip flexor, ab and glute stuff. My tolerance for discomfort has increased notably, so I was able to finish all the reps and sets. I imagine I will pay for this later tomorrow.
Ran with the group in the rain and dark this morning. I forgot I had that extra gear to shift into. It was really nice to be pushed. We were going at an 8:15 pace for awhile a couple times!
Time is based off the time of day on my cell phone, minus estimated minutes at a red light. It could be off slightly. I started off fast and slowed down after an uphill portion.
Felt good. It took a lot of mental energy to keep my pace up. I think my default, mindless pace would have been 11:00.
My legs felt good, but it took about 1.5 miles to work all the kinks out.
