I haven't been logging all my bike miles. I have to be more diligent in the future...

A new PB for me! The goal of this run, was to simulate the BB on Monday.
Mile 1 - 7:46 (also a PB!)
Mile 2 - 8:39 (missed the lap counter!)
Mile 3 - 7:25 (had gone over about :30 on Mile 2)
Mile 4 - 8:38
Mile 5 - 8:38
Mile 6 - 9:01

I totally spaced off the lap counter at the 2nd mile, and didn't remember until I saw the next .2 mile mark, so my laps 2 & 3 are off, but overall time is good. My goal for Monday's race is sub-52. NOW I'm wondering if <51:30 is possible. After all, I did this after working 9 hours today, and biking to and from work...

Fighting off a damn migraine today.  At least it doesn't feel as painful as some of my previous ones, but my vision in my right eye isn't normal (and I drove to work today, go figure!)

YAY!  I got to swim finally!  On the plus side, nothing freaky happened at the pool.  On the minus side, NOTHING freaky happened at the pool, therefore I don't have a story today.

So, I shall use this time to renew my accolations of the TI swim method.  Since I got the book, I always toss a few TI drills into my warmup routine.  It seems to help me tremendously.  I still tend to start out a little quicker than I should, but by the time I'm ~300 yards into my main set, I relax enough to keep going (if I hadn't had goggle-issues today, I wouldn't have had to stop at all).  I also feel like I could do more when I'm done now, when before TI, I always felt I left everything in the pool.  On my main set, at the 1000 yard point, I was under 23 minutes (didn't start the HRM on my first 100!), mentally figured where I'd be at 1500 and 2000, and was pretty accurate.  My SPL, about ~500 in, stayed fairly solid until the 2000 yard mark, and I'm very happy with that (avg. ~18).  I also noticed tonight, that when I concentrated on staying relaxed, I was gliding through the water much more, and passing the people next to me consistently.  I think I'll have to alter my projected time for the Louisville Tri down by about 2 minutes, too.

Good training this weekend - my legs were very tight this morning.  Will do a light ride tonight, ~18 miles.  After I pay my darn truck taxes...

Since Cathy brought it up - yep, I fell.  But I suppose no good deed goes unpunished.  I had stopped to help another cyclist, who seemed to have too many parts scattered on the ground.  Next time I'll just be the elitist bike snob and NOT stop to help.  (Which isn't true, and isn't a very Christian thing to do - but I'll unclip BOTH feet next time.)
