Rode the bike course for the River Cities Sprint tomorrow as casual as I could.

My 8 year old daughter, Madison, did her first triathlon today! She swam 100 yards, biked 3 miles and ran 1k and finished in the middle of her AG. She had a great time and might be hooked!!!! I ran around like all the other crazy parents trying to see as much as I could as I video taped every move she made. Can you tell I'm a proud father? Afterwards, I rode the bike course for my race on Sunday while the girls swam in the lake and visted the park's "Zoo".

Ok workout at the Rec Center. Didn't have a good feel for breathing today and still had some fatigue in my legs from yesterday's 9 mile run. I skipped the easy 54min Z1 bike as we had to get on the road to the River Cities Triathlon (6 hour drive) from Round Rock to Shreveport. Raining today as we headed out of town.

Did it, don't see much value but I worked on stroke length and pull.

Ran today out at Old Settler's Park on the out and back route after dropping water bottles at the 2 mile and 4 mile marks. I felt strong but ran slow? and enjoyed the run as the sun came up and the cows ran along side me. I was wearing a Red Reebok running shirt. I wonder if the color got their attention. I don't think I am drinking enough with the heat. The swim was a breeze. I wasn't into it mentally today after my run.

Tough Tuesday morning workout again. This is really hard on the trainer.

Really tired after this run. I did the Sonoma loop going up the hill on Gattis School Rd.

Really tired after today's workouts. The bike workout on the trainer continues to be one of the hardest workouts that I have and my legs are rubbery after each session. The run was hard in the afternoon sun after the mornings intense bike workout. I zoned out on the run and tried to just grin and bear the pain as I ran the route. Just get through it.

I was very tired after yesterday's long bike ride.

Today was a "No legs day" workout and it was a good thing. My legs were dead after yesterday's bike ride. I had to do the pull buoy for the 12x100's.

Supposed to do Brick workout: 20m z1, 6x4m Z3, 1m RI, 38m RP, 97m Z1

Went on a long ride with Richard and Tiffany Freer and James from ATC on the Pflugerville loop. They did close to 100 miles and I stayed with them for about 50 miles. They passed me at the start and I had to Time Trial to catch up with them after about 8 miles. That effort at the beginning wasted my legs from the remainder of the ride, especially when they did a time trial about the 40 mile mark without telling me. Its great to ride with them and I need to do it more often. I can keep up but I need to be smart about how I ride. Also need to carry more fuel.
