RR will be up after I take a shower!

Ran the whole time (including both bridges!!!)

P.s. Laurie and I ROCK!!!

Not that this was easy, because it wasn't, but it felt good and solid the entire time. I really think that I trained well. Thank you Ken, you've been awesome with all of your advice.

Oh No! My counter is on 0 ! That must mean that my 1/2 marathon is tomorrow. Can't believe it's here already, this time tomorrow i'll be nicely napping with a 1/2 marathon under my belt. Haven't really been nervous this week, but i'm fairly sure that I will not be able to sleep tonight.

And look at my weather forecast for tomorrow, how could you want better running weather???!!!

February 3

One more day to make it through. I am so dorkily excited about this stupid 1/2 marathon.

February 2

thanks J from reminding me of this quote

Quote of the day

"This is not Disneyland, or Hollywood. I'll give you an example: I've read that I flew up the hills and mountains of France. But you don't fly up a hill. You struggle slowly and painfully up a hill, and maybe, if you work very hard, you get to the top ahead of everybody else." Lance Armstrong

Run felt great!

< lecture >  Brandy, just because you have run 10 miles before does NOT mean that you can treat 6 miles like it is nothing. You HAVE to hydrate the day of and you can NOT eat that much before your run. You also know that you can not eat apples and peanut butter before you run, and you did that last night. You've done this before and it always makes you feel sick during the run. Did you think that last night would magically be different? News flash - it WASN'T. 6 miles is still a long distance for you to run and you need to remember that. You will hydrate well for the rest of the week in preparation for Sunday. </lecture >

My shoulders by my neck are a little sore, not too bad though. I've also been seriously overeating the past week, I recognize this and vow to stop.

Ken said I only had to run 6 miles today, so that's all I'm doing!

After this 1/2 marathon on Sunday. I think I'm going to draw out a plan to be able to complete the entire levee loop (40 something miles). I want to spend more time on my bike, I miss it.
