Day Off! Hydrating and Carbo loading!
I am worried they will not do the swim due to high bacteria levels because of the large amount of rains last week and on wednesday. Already area beaches have been closed for the weekend. So I am assuming we should have the same problem with the Hudson river.
I am considering using my training bike instead of my carbon fiber race bike for sunday. IT will make me slower but give me a great workout, seeing how i am not racing either you or Rob this weekend.

I feeling pretty fatigued now that I have complete my morning swim and lunchtime bike and run. Timing is off for NYC but if I can keep thi s up I should be able to peack for Chicago!

I was slow on the hills and fast on the flats.
I need to do more hill work.
I did not improve over last year.
I pushed but when I finished I felt like I could have put more into the bike than I did.
avg speed 20.0
fastest 37.8
Sub 9 minutes barely. I never really felt like I got my legs back from the bike even through I felt I could have put more into the bike.
Not enough bricks!

It continues to be the weakest part of my game!
Current was very very good to me.
The swim however felt aweful. It was a complete struggle the whole way. I ended up breathing with every right handed stroke instead of how I practice with alternating sides every third stroke. I was constantly drifting off course to the left. Maybe it was the current. And to top it off my $300 1 year old set suit cracked in two places on my lower back from when I was putting it on in a hurry I guess.
