Called it a sick day....feeling crappy after my test this am. Make up my run tomorrow.
WTF??? I'm all mopey and tired today. I had to go in this morning for my 6 month follow-up tests. I've been doing the PET scans where they inject you with radioactive sugar but they've switched me back to CT scans with contrast. As much as I dislike the whole glow in the dark thing, I liked the PETs better. I had a pretty much guaranteed 2 hr nap as you have to lay around for an hour or more after they inject you and then the scanner takes about 40 minutes. The stupid dye they inject has started making me feel nauseous the last few times that I've had it done. I thought I was going to blow chunks everywhere but held it in. Plus, the tech tried twice to start my iv and still couldn't get it. A nurse finally came in and got it on #3 but she even struggled some. I've never been stuck more than twice and that's only happened like 3 times out of the probably 40 or more times I was stuck during chemo,etc.
Sighting of the Day or technically, the Almost Didn't See It for the Trees Sighting--Old guy driving a Rascal Scooter wearing full camoflauge while driving on the grass shoulder next to the road. Almost couldn't see him. Hell of a disguise :)

1st time on the computrainer. Legs still tired from Sat's half-mary. I took care of today's intervals during the race. 5x:30 on/:30 off; 5:00 spin followed by :60 on/:60 off. Did this during the race. HR felt way up and I definitely went anaerobic a couple of times towards the end.
