1 + mile walk after race

i was surprised to see how many sub 9 miles i was able to string together. Which was key to coming in Sub 2 hours in the race. I ran for some miles with many friends and worked hard with Brad from mile 3 to 7 where he got away from me when i took a gel and short walking break i caught and passed him again at mile 12.5 and we both pushed hard to finish he arrived 2 seconds ahead of me. Well done All. All sports Miles this week: 19.4/200

Easy run on mile 8 of tomorrows course
Had to jump a locked fence to do this .
Strange to only go 1 mile and turn around . Just feel like i was starting to warm up.

Volunteered at The race In The T shirt Area Today with my son . It was fun to see how quickly he figured it out and how well he did it. You could say i was proud ... :) Also learned our fantastic Marathon race directors will be bowing out this year after 12 years involvement. They are both very accomplished runners in their own right and they feel its time to pass the baton . I wish them the best.

For the purposes of this Cross Training 200 mile Goal a Hockey game will count as 3 miles. Its about 30 minutes of ice time and i am about as trashed as after a 5k race.

Good Marathon Pace practice its nice to run on firm even ground after last two days on trail

Effort was confortably aerobic . Aware of pace but focusing on finding the "zone"
HR probably at 140-145 did not bother wearing Polar as I was not going to push today .

8 miles left for tomorrow , will do some of it on The HAlf mary course .
