Well, it looks like my run is slowing down again. Granted, I've been extending the distance again and that makes it tough to maintain speed. Today, my legs were a bit dead from the long bike ride on Saturday. And I've been having a tough time with my asthma lately, though it's been better in the last week or so. All excuses for slow runs. This week is a bit of a recovery week, so maybe I can look at improving my times on some shorter runs. Next week, I'll start doing some intervals again. At least my bike times are improving!

What a day! My little girl, Liana, did her first triathlon this morning. She did great! Finished strong, even though she needed to walk a little bit at the end. She even placed 3rd in her division! She's already wanting to know when her next race is going to be. I think she's hooked! I'm so proud!
The rain also finally held off today and I got a good long bike ride in. It was beautiful this evening. Almost no wind and relatively cool - mid-80's temp-wise. This was the longest ride I'd done in a good long time. It felt great! I'm looking forward to more in the coming weeks. I really need to keep extending my distance to get ready for my next oly. Should be tons of fun!
