So basically i had a decent race. But i didn't really "race" it. I stayed in zone 2 for my HR and pretty much pushed it between my HIM and IM pace. So I still can't figure out my nutrition!! I took 1 gel, 3 shot blocks and 100cal of a bar with about 36oz of GE. And my stomach completely shut down! I didn't eat a thing on the run. I'm lucky i had enough energy to finish. I was DRAGGING the last mile. Felt like i was going to vomit the entire run. Could have taken 10 min off the run time and that would have been a zone 2 easy run. But with no food comes no energy and it really got me at the end. Oh and it was HOT and HILLY on the run! The bike was also very hilly and the last 20 miles were windy!

Easy ride to check out the bike before the race. I'm a little nervous because i drove my wife's car which means i have to take the wheels off in the morning and put them back on before the race. Just nervous that something might be wrong in the morning and i'll be rushed or won't be able to race. I'm sure it will be fine.
Easy zone 2 run....I was suprised at how my legs felt. They really didn't feel too bad. They weren't full of energy, but they didn't really feel dead either
110' ride on a rolling to flat course. Keep HR in Zone 1-2.
Really needed to run, but i decided that i rest day would do me good with my HIM coming up on saturday.
Decided to do the 100K instead of the 100 miles. Felt good until my back and neck started hurting. Legs were not to bad considering i rode 100miles yesterday.
