A short, race intensity ride. HR was a little high today. Wind was blowing like MAD!
Still staying away from running. I would like to get a short little run in just to get some blood moving but the hip is feeling pretty good and I don't want to aggravate it before the race. If I feel OK Monday I will ease back into marathon training, otherwise I will need to make a decision to scrap an October race altogether or switch to a half.

Little swim to make sure the race day set up will work out.
Got email from the race saying the water temp is currently 58 and neoprene caps and booties are allowed.
I raced CDA 2008 around 58 and it was chilly in the sleeveless but I was OK after 1.5 hours. Getting out of the water and on to the bike will be an unpleasant experience Sunday.

Today I think the pain could be mor from my back.... damn it. Who knows. All I know is that running certainly aggravates it. Swimming and riding will be the staples this week. Total rest again today.

I had a great bike split at 1:14:35, great T2 (:46) and a decent run. Swim was OK, but I basically suck at swimming so a :32, while slow by many standards was OK for me, especially considering my lack of swim volume.
