St. George Marathon
Everything came together to deliver me an awesome performance today! Shattered all of my old marathon PRs and my old expectations. I learned how much is just in my head when I run these things. Still in shock, but now I know what I'm really capable of.

I was able to keep a positive mindset all the way to the end, despite some severe pain while I was climbing Veyo, and despite the heat at the end. Maybe it was that I wanted to prove a point at this race, since I was coming back to tackle my very first marathon course again. Maybe it was my nutrition discipline that helped too. In any case, I seemed to figure it out.

I'm a very happy guy right now ;-)

4 mi run to keep the legs loose
Needed to get in a quick run to make sure that I stay loose for Saturday. After all the sitting around resting and healing, I just want to make sure that my legs are ready to go 26 mi this Saturday. This run said they are ;)
