Decided not to run. Makalah stayed home from school and I'd like to give myself a little bit more time to recover. I might lift some weights or do a light bike, but nothing more. I want to get healthy again.

Ran the Healthy Heart 5k (even though I was sick). PRed during this race by 3 seconds. Ya baby!!!
Nice challenging race that began at Husker Health, then went on Sargeant rode and then hit the trail. We did the turnaround and came back the way we came. Trail was snowy, slushy, and muddy. Like I said, it was challenging.
Saw a bunch of Beatrice/Gage County people, as well as, Bripod and Brynn whom also brought their foster kids and their dog (Penny) down. It was good to see and hang out with them.
I enjoy small town races and plan to hit this one again next year.
