Was supposed to stay in zone 2 -- it was hard! I haven't been doing HR workouts but I'm hoping it will help.
Needed to do hill work so ... rode my bike a couple of miles to an overpass, locked up the bike and ran back and forth and back and forth several times (with a little cool off run on flat in between) Sprinted up, walked across and sprinted down the other side. Felt like a good work out.

BRICK - pretty slow but it's a start.
It's hard to believe that one month from today (last year) I did my first tri. The splits on that tri were MUCH better than I'm seeing in my practice lately. I don't know what's happened to me. Everyone else seems to be getting faster and I'm slowing down!

WU and CD
TIME TRIAL - last one was in Feb and my time was 20:30. I was 33 seconds faster.
Did a negative split - first 500 was 10:07 and second was 9:50! Man it was hard, too. I think I need to do some "wind sprints" to get my breathing built up.
Just a quick ride with some "hills" - the one and only overpass!
