Excellent warranty support and customer service. Bought this trainer 5 years ago, after a couple years the screw to tighten resistance unit to wheel stripped, submitted a warranty claim online and had a new and improved screw assembly in my mailbox 2 days later. Recently, after 5 years of heavy use, the trainer started to make some grinding noises and really load up the resistance during intervals, to the point where I had to down shift just to maintain cadence. My initial thought was, "Well 5 years, it's been a pretty good run, think I'll upgrade to one of those new computer controlled trainers." But I didn't feel like shelling out $1k+ for a new trainer and then remembered that Kurt advertised a Lifetime Warranty, checked their website and sure enough, filled out the online warranty form again and boom, a new resistance unit arrived 3 days later (it also appears to be slightly improved from the original, maybe it will last 10 years before wearing out). This company stands behind their products!

I have owned three different trainers over the last 6 years. The first was a weak mag trainer. The second was solid Cyclops 2. The KK is a strong competitor to the Cyclops. I feel that the flywheel turns over much easier. I am able to get up to speed very quickly and maintain a high level of cycling without any issue. I definitely give the KK a nod over the Cyclops model.

I've got my MTB on it so I can ride during injury recovery and foul weather. I am impressed with the quality and ease of use. It's a really great workout.

$230 Bikesport deal + shipping was cheaper than elsewhere. Everyone raves about this trainer, and I see now that it is going to be well-used for some time. Looking forward to checking out the first Spinervals DVD that comes with the trainer.
