Pretty much plug and go. There is the garmin training center disc. Motion Based is a great site to use with it for analysis.

Performs very well when comparing distances with what the race director sets out. Works well on trail runs.

Strengths

Allows training with HR zones and pacing zones.

Weakness

Not waterproof. Wish the battery would last longer.
