Quality of Construction

I'm worried that they may get torn easily if caught on something sharp. We'll see over time.

Fit

They do fit small. I went up a half size and they are snug.
I love that they have the corrugated laces at the end. Similar to Yanks. Helps keep them from coming untied.

Comfort

I like my shoes a little loose in the toe box. So in this pair I just keep the laces looser at the bottom.

For value, I will see if the hold up over time.

Performance

I took them out for a 4.5 mile run at a 7:30 pace. Mostly sidewalk and pavement, some gravel parts, a few plank bridges and this being the sandhills of NC too. They held up very well. They feel different when running, almost like you are leaning back some. But they did well on the hills and trails. I would use them for too many sticky conditions, because I thing they would pick up a lot of dirt in the tread.

Weakness

I'm worried about two things:
1. Frailty of the covering material
2. Durability of the sole and attachment to the shoe.
