"I have waited for these to hit the market for a couple months and although I wanted them sooner, I am very happy with these pedals. I like the fact that there is not a one sided reading buying option, every set reads both sides accurately. Only had and used for a week but so far these are awesome and are another great Saris product. "mac3116

I did take to LBS just cause I had other business there but they only took like 5 min to instal. Powertap said they do not require a torque wrench and one was not used. Tightened to Sram specs on crank arms

Only adjusting I had to do and I had read before buying was to tighten the tension to get foot out. They came loose but only required 4 turns with a 2mm alan wrench to get where I wanted

So far they seem solid and well built

Not too much to adjust but I would say they are versatile, sending off a ANT+ signal along with bluetooth depending on the computer you want to connect to.

Few hundred less that other power pedals and a bit more than their crank model coming out soon but I feel they are a pretty good price. I feel the price was well worth what they bring to the table. Yes there are less expensive power meters out there but I feel confident with Saris Powertap and believe the price matches the over all quality

Although a bit larger on bottom, where triple A battery goes in but in all they look great.

When I decided to pull the trigger and buy, I contacted Saris to see if they was shipping and available. They were fast to get back to me on Twitter and also got an email back, along with a phone call from them. I have never heard anything bad about Saris service and feel confident if any issues they would deal with quickly

Things seem solid with the performance. I did some testing with them compared to my Kinetic inRide power meter on trainer and both are really close.

Bring power readings both on the road and on trainer. Synced easy with Garmin 920xt and feed the info into the data screens I selected. Also swap easy from bike to bike, with calibration just a few button pushed away in Garmin. They have nothing hanging like the Garmin or Polar and come out of the box reading both side power. I also belive the idea of a triple A battery is great IF they should die and need replace during a ride, where I can get one at any gas station if needed.

Have not found any yet and do not rally expect to find any. Maybe the only one is that they are built as a matching set ! Meaning you cannot replace a pedal if one goes out. The right talks to the left and it talks to the computer reading the info. Although that would be an issue for Saris and I am sure with their customer service, would be taken care of quickly with warranty.
