The helmet has a cinching device, what Rudy Project calls their "retention system adjustable disk". This disk enables you to dial in the fit precisely.

Padding is plush, especially in comparison to the Giro and Bell helmets I've had in the last few years. The helmet even incorporates padding for the front half of your head, with a bug filter to keep pesky critters out of your hair.

So far so good. I've been training hard, and dragging this helmet all over the place to go on rides and t still looks like it did when I got it two months ago.
