Subject: Spectator Goodie Bag Ideas

Looking for ideas to put together spectator goodie bags for a full length event.  I know there is a great post out there with ideas, but I couldn't find it with the search function.  Anyone care to chime in with ideas?  Thanks.?

I purchased drawstring backpacks for each person and filled with:

Customized t-shirt
Sunscreen
Chapstick
Rain poncho
Cowbell
Gum
Personalized snacks
Re-fillable water bottle
Sidewalk chalk
Coffee shop gift cards
Maps, directions, estimated times of arrival at good spectator points
Hand written thank you note

For the kids, I made a camera scavenger hunt (put kids cameras in their bags) and added glow sticks/glow necklaces, temporary tattoos, and those funny tape-on mustaches, which were WAAAY too big of a hit

As a 2x Ironman spectator I can say this is PERFECT!

Small cowbell.  At NJ State Oly last year, they gave out little cowbells in their goodies bag.  Don't know how much they cost, but my girlfriend loved it.

5x Ironman spectator, and I can say that this list is perfect!  It's a long day out there for everyone, and this would be an amazing bag to get!

Plus a small whiteboard and marker (so they can write messages to the athletes)

Amazing list!

I will also add that when people from Texas came to Kentucky to spectate for me, I also bought them small ice chests and folding chairs they could carry. I wanted to make sure they had cold drinks and something to sit on.
