Pearl Izumi EM TRI N2

Overall these are great shoes for training and racing. They provide a good amount of cushioning for a full ironman run or even if you are just doing a sprint tri. The dynamic offset of the shoe takes a couple runs to get used to, but then feels very natural once you get used to it. These have quickly become one of my favorite shoes that I have bought in the past 2 years.

Jawbone Up, like fitbit, is not completely accurate, but it is a new, fun technology that is like an adult video came - you get to passively play.

Fizik R1 Uomo

I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. I've owned many pairs of cycling shoes, from several manufacturers, over the years and came to expect that even the best shoes were about as comfortable as bowling shoes. Even my most expensive pair of Sidi's just felt "meh".

From the moment I first tried on the R1's I was amazed at how comfortable they felt. Easily the best pair of cycling shoes I've ever owned.

Considered Xterra but the were out of stock on my size. Found this suit at wetsuitoulet.com for $179. Watched the videos and read the reviews so I gave it a try. So far I'm very pleased with the decision. Fits as expected and happy they upgraded me to the current model. I would highly recommend.

Camelbak Delaney

Nice idea for taking some hydration on longer runs, but the poor design rendered it unusable as the water bottle kept poking me in the back which was very annoying and I could not tolerate that for my runs.

I really looked forward to trying this system out when I first saw it. Overall I'm a bit disappointed that it hasn't worked as well as I had hoped. I have to be sort of a contortionist to get a drink (even though the straw is right in front of my face). I made to many little adjustments to install my computer near the bottle and soften the noise a rattling bottle makes.

Bontrager Race X-Lite Hardcase

I am a regular bike commuter and reliability of equipment is key to successful commutes. My rear Bontrager Harc Case tire never got a flat during 4,000 miles of commuting in all types of weather and on a variety of road surfaces. I'd recommend giving these a look if you need durability and reliability on all your rides.

A rear light is an essential for regular bike commuting. This light has never failed me and has been with me on over 10,000 bike commuting miles. One very durable piece of equipment. Highly recommend.
