Pre-race routine:

Since it starts at 12:30 I didn't worry about an early wake up. Take in plenty of liquids including juice. No solids before the race.

Did lots of stretching because of the chill and made sure I got in the water just a little bit before start.

What would you do differently?:

Buy a slightly thicker wetsuit. Need new goggles for low light. Had poor visibility with the overcast sky. It was just too cold. My muscles couldn't handle a faster pace without a cramp.

Perfect. After my usual bonking on the run, everything was paced wonderfully.
What would you do differently?:

A little more aggressive on the downhills. Never pushed it just kept it comfortable.
