Comments: Good run, a decent pace and felt good. There is a hill after mile 1 which slowed me down. What would you do differently?: Go faster! Transition 1
Comments: My 1st race transition, spent too much time fumbling with bike shoes. Lock laces on running shoes helped as they came off easily. What would you do differently?: PRACTICE Bike
Comments: Bike was great up until this short steep climb, got out of the saddle and the calves started cramping, had to back off on the bike for the last 3 miles or so so that I would have at least a chance at running to my best. HR was good, just legs not up to the pace. What would you do differently?: Need to strengthen my calves. Transition 2
Comments: BADDDD... the cramping from the bike plagued me here, my right calf cramped when going into shoe so had to pause, then left foot was cramping. Had to stop to stretch. What would you do differently?: Need to stop the cramps Run
Comments: Wow, I was impressed that I had this left in the tank - only 16 seconds slower. Felt strong and sprinted to the line. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race

Got up at 6am, had a bagel with peanut butter, jam, and a banana. Showered and headed to race ~30mins away. Arrived just after 7
A couple of laps of the run course, with some strides. Ate an orange.
