Pre-race routine:

Up by 6am at the Boston Inn. Peanut butter sandwich, packed up, checked out, and over the the Pleasant Valley VFD.

What would you do differently?:

A lovely ride in perfect conditions. Only got hot the last couple of miles.

Warm down:

Put everything away and then hit the all you can eat BBQ.

Event comments:

This is a neat little tour in rural Maryland only an hour and change from the Beltway. For the Brush Fire 30, it has plenty of rolling hills that aren't freebies for someone with no training. Still, we had a great time.
