Comments:

Windy morning. Waves crashing into my face on the way out. Better on the way back in. I had never swam in waves before, so it took a while to adjust.

Comments:

Really windy, especially going south on I95. My bike time was slower than expected, but everyone else had slow bike times too.

Comments:

I knew the run was going to be hard. I hadn't run in 6 weeks. I started out just walking through the aid stations. Just before half way I started to bonk so I was walking a lot more. My toe injury started bothering me soon after that, followed by a calf/hamstring cramp and finally my tibialis anterior started to flare up.

12:03 is still not a bad time considering that I went into the race injured.
