set up shoes,socks,gloves at T1. stood in rain for 45 min. waiting on race start

confident swim. wetsuit was a plus. hardly had to kick at all.

push a little harder to get below a 2:00 min pace

couldn't done much more to quicken this. sat down to take wetsuit off. ran with shoes on. need to practice mount with shoes clipped in. need to practice mounting bike at speed

Bike felt some sluggish. Rain was tough. Passed folks on climbs but then got passed on flats

Pacing is key. Push a little harder. Get a tri bike!

Race bib was jammed under my tire. Helmet and glasses kept falling off stem. Too crowded to get in and make a smooth transition. Was unable to clip out of my shoes for running dismount.

Clip out of shoes for running dismount.

Passed guy in AG out of T2 but then he passed me halfway through. Maintained consistent pace throughout but can't help wondering if I could've pushed harder.
