Pre-race routine:

What routine? First ever duathlon. No sleep at ALL and 1.5 hour drive to the event. To put it bluntly, I was not fresh. Cold, wet and windy.

Bike was out of this world. Still cold wet and windy. Reached 38 MPH going down one hill, averaged 5 going back up it. Started cramping at about mile 12, consumed all my Accelerade and notice vast improvement. I was not pleased with my time but I have nothing to compare it to.
What would you do differently?:

More electrolytes pre race.

2nd run started out with cramps. I was able to settle in and ran a steady pace with a guy in my age group that I passed at the end.
What would you do differently?:

I was so tired. I went way over 24 hours with no sleep.
