What would you do differently?: I would push the people who stopped swimming right in front of me out of the way instead of swimming around them...I spent more time swimming around everyone! My normal 400 yard swim is between 9 and 10 minutes! Transition 1
What would you do differently?: I would have pushed harder running with the bike...must practice mount and dismount to become more efficient. Bike
Comments: This was a good leg for me, the course was 13 miles long and is advertised this way; however official scoring has it listed as 12 miles. Again very crowded, I passed a lot of people and only got passed a handful of times. What would you do differently?: I would work on mounting and dismounting. Transition 2
Comments: The girl who came in just after me fell...I paused for a minutes debating whether to help or not. I didn't... What would you do differently?: Get to the race earlier so that I get a better spot on the racks, I was pretty much in the middle of the racks, but all the way on the end, there were about 10 people on each segment of racks. If I had a spot closer to the main runway, i would have cut some time off my time. I also sat down to switch my shoes...prob not the best idea. Run
Comments: This was a decent run for me considering I ran my first mile only 6 weeks ago. Obviously this is where I have the opportunity to make the most improvements. Good thing I enjoy it, and my times are improving steadily. What would you do differently?: Other than go back in time and train more...nothing. I did not walk at all and I paced myself perfectly to finish strong at the end...I sprinted across the finish line! Post race
