Did the bike leg of the childrens tri with my son as it was his first!

I had the opportunity to pass a couple of swimmers in the first 150 and did not take it, and only passed one of the two possible swimmers in teh second 150 swim.

Treat the race like the sprint it was designed to be.

Did not treat the event as a race.

Event comments:

I had fun cheering on my son and placed second in my age group on what I count as a training day. The race was fun and different in that you swam twice, biked twice and ran twice with 4 transitions. I think I will do it again next year and add some speed!
