  • 10 miles
  • 09m 11s  min/mile
Comments:

Very difficult with the crowd at the beginning. After about 3 miles, had big trouble getting into a groove. Could not get steady splits. Was unable to run with Paddy, despite plan. We were in different waves.
Did not have heartrate monitor because battery was dead.
What would you do differently?:

Run with Paddy or someone who could keep the pace.
Post race
Warm down:

walkabout, stretch a little.
Two bananas, bagel and four waters.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Crowds. Self discipline. Really didn't focus after mile 8.

Event comments:

I like the race. Good people. The bands on the course were great. Really, dislike the 14th street bridge.
