Comments:

I forgot to eat prior to the swim and I definitely paid the price. Right around 500 yds, I started struggling with low blood sugar. I would not recommend this type of swimming.

Transition seemed pretty good. I did lose my sunglasses somewhere in the transition which was a bit alarming since they were my prescription glasses. My shirt got a little tangled, but overall it was ok.

Course: You know it's still as every year. Right around the half way point, I started to cramp. This could have been a side effect of my non-eating thing, however I don't know. Oh well.. still a heck of a good time and the trail was great.
